Intermediate III

This intermediate power yoga class is very close to being advanced. Crista balances heat-building sun salutations, warrior poses and arm balances with deep hip openers to bring you all of the benefits of yoga in 50 minutes, providing stress relief, giving you energy and leaving you feeling deeply relaxed.

Super clear instruction, interesting long sequences and Crista's postivity and silliness make this a class to come back to. If your hips are not super flexible it's handy to have some yoga blocks nearby

Fantastic class. I am experiencing a lot of work stress at the moment and Crista really took me away from this. What I really like is how challenging this class is, yet so accessible to those- like me who are not quite at that challenging intermediate level. Crista provides clear instruction of either trying to go further or to stay just where you are. Very often I need to stay put, but appreciate the opportunity to see how I am progressing.

Wow, one of the best yoga classes I've ever taken! I accomplished two firsts in this class! This class was challenging and fun, but also, Crista's calming voice and fun, encouraging spirit made me want to do well, while also taking care of my body. I love all the humming and breathing to remind me to stick to my breath. Wow, just wow! Thank you Crista!

Loved this class and will definitely be returning often! Christa is precise with her cues and instructions - reminding you to do all the little nuances that make the poses strong and sweet. Her infectious smile is lovely and I adore her 'happy sighs'! They remind you how GOOD yoga can feel!

This is an amazing series of stretches that open the hips and leg muscles. Absolutely love Christa’s relaxing voice and happy sighs of contentment. Practising this class against the gorgeous pebble beach, lapping waves and birds seals the pure bliss of the class. Thank you Christa. This is a favourite of which I’ll return to again and again!

Thank you for a light-hearted yet spiritual practice. It felt SO good for my hips and shoulder especially. I also appreciate the longer savasana with the sound of the surf! Wow, i feel fantastic.

Really enjoyed this practice this morning. I have a lot of hip problems, and my hips feel loose and open coming out of this class. I haven't done a lot of yoga classes and was able to follow by sticking to some of the simpler variations on the poses, but this class could certainly be more challenging if you take on all the variations.

I'm new to yoga, only doing it couple of months now, but I can feel the change already. Crista's class is great I could feel My body opening up even though I couldn't complete some poses completely. She is very good at explaining and makes me smile too.

I like that this class is a great workout that includes hip opening stretches. It is a wonderful way to sweat and relax. Also, it will counteract all of the hip tension I get from having a sedentary job.
