I Heart Backbends - Shorter Class
This fun power yoga flow class is full of heart opening and back bending, with lots of time spent on releasing the quadriceps, hip-flexors, internal hip rotators and strengthening the shoulders and core in poses like side plank. This is a slightly shorter version of Crista's full class, for those who are short on time.

This was my favourite class of the challenge yet. I had to modify some of the poses after irritating my shoulder while shovelling, but Christa offers lots of options for the more difficult poses. Challenging and joyful.
I wasn't sure if I'd have to skip lots with a sometimes cranky lower back but this class warms you up really well and Crista's cues made me feel safe and supported throughout.
