I Heart Backbends - Shorter Class
This fun power yoga flow class is full of heart opening and back bending, with lots of time spent on releasing the quadriceps, hip-flexors, internal hip rotators and strengthening the shoulders and core in poses like side plank. This is a slightly shorter version of Crista's full class, for those who are short on time.

A good long class with lots of deep stretches - pigeon was so luscious! My favorite part: "If you can't reach your foot today, you're still a good person."
I laughed aloud a few times today. Exactly the encouragement I need when trying a class where some of the poses are still out of reach!
Definitely an advanced class - which I would've skipped right past if it wasn't for the challenge. But I was happy to see that I could do many of the poses and stretches, especially with Christa's suggested modifications when needed. Namaste!
