This challenging, beginner yoga class is a wonderfully-balanced hatha flow that stretches and strengthens the whole body, through standing poses, seated stretches, reclining postures and core work. Rachel helps you understand alignment and core activation, emphasizing the proper way to do the poses to obtain the most benefit and to feel rejuvenated and relaxed as you take on your day or prepare to wind down into your evening.

Challenging nicely paced and extremely well directed. I found this a beautiful class for those beginners wanting a more challenging class but at a mindful more relaxed paced. Rachel hit the mark perfectly. I also appreciated the strengthening aspect with holds and pulses. Made my day!

I will add my 5 stars to the rating. Such a strong commanding voice gave direction without being effusive. Thank you Rachel and thank you David for putting this practice in the challenge.

I usually choose intermediate classes and prefer a steady paced class. Though, I had been away from my practice for a couple of months and recently recovered from a pretty serious cold and stressful times at work. This class helped lift the dark, heavy cloud that had hung over me for weeks. The breathing practice in the beginning of the class carried me and my concentration through the entire sequence and beyond. My racing, scattered thoughts shifted to focusing on my form and presence in each pose/movement. Rachel's style is clean, smooth, and playful. Thank you so much for sharing your gift. I am so grateful for DoYogaWithMe. I live deep in the woods so it is not practical to practice in a studio. This website is grounded and authentic. Much gratitude~
