This is a more gentle vinyasa style yoga class with a focus on using your breath and core to get you into your seated, standing and lunging poses. It's intended to slow you down and allow you to give more attention to your poses, with an emphasis on twists.
This can either be done as a stand-alone class or as Day 13 of the Daily Dose 30-Day Intermediate Yoga Challenge.

This was a nice break but it was still challenging. I didn’t realize I would be so sore but I already feel stronger. This video made me really make the connection between twists and engaging the core. Thank you!

Great class - made me focus on the subtle muscle movements and the form of poses.
Melissa - I m not usually a fan of crescent pose BUT you're cueing was fantastic! I actually felt light and stable in the twists - I m converted:) Thank you such a lovely flow - your voice and the waves together were a beautiful backdrop

Relaxing and good! My knee was a bit sore from yesterday, and this class really helped with it's more gentle pace. :) I loved especially the freedom Melissa gave in the class--there were plenty of options to do what one individually may want.
Lots of good twists, and overall a nice slower practice. I would have liked a little more challenging vinyasas to "recharge" for the longer twists.

Ended class feeling light and comfortable. Melissa really knows how to invite you to take modifications as need. I appreciated the repetition with variations of the different twists- the first round may not feel great, but the 2nd or 3rd feels spacious and free!
