This is a more gentle vinyasa style yoga class with a focus on using your breath and core to get you into your seated, standing and lunging poses. It's intended to slow you down and allow you to give more attention to your poses, with an emphasis on twists.
This can either be done as a stand-alone class or as Day 13 of the Daily Dose 30-Day Intermediate Yoga Challenge.

This class was excellent for the work on stability and core, transition in lunge levels were very effective allowing me to sense where strengthneing would be offer me more support.
i also really appreciated the location of your video, it offered me a sense of spaciousness.

Thank you for this sweet flow. It starts slow, but you end doing a complete sessions. I loved the emphasis on twists (balance, flexibilite, core and strength, all at the same time!). I agree with others that it would be nice to have some more intermediate classes from Melissa. Namaste!

More intermediate classes from Melissa - please?? I’m an intermediate/advanced yogi but I have some chronic injuries that remind me to slow down every now and then. I’ve always turned to Melissa’s classes because she slows things down and has such a calming way with words and flow - but they’re also a little too easy and my mind wanders and my body disengages. This intermediate class was PERFECT. Just enough challenge to keep my body engaged but my mind calm. I would love to see more intermediate level classes from her!!

Very nice intermediate practice; perfect for after my bike ride. Loved the tip to "be heavy in the legs but light in the arms" while transitioning from lunge to crescent pose. Thank you!

I loved this class. I seem to get more out of the slowed down classes rather than the fast paced classes that don't hold poses as long. Really enjoyed this one.
Melissa always leads a wonderful class. Her joyful presence and mindful pacing allow for deep release. Her focus on the "deep core" is a doorway to inner strength.

Very twisty! Nice slower pace
This was a great class for me today and will be one I can do with my daughter who is just beginning to practice. Poses are straight forward and not too complicated for a beginner, while enough challenge for my intermediate practice.

Wonderful class, I love the focus on using core strength to twist, rather than the leverage from arms. Although slower and gentle, works up a good sweat! Very relaxing!
