Rachel is an expert at sequencing. In this intermediate hatha flow yoga class, she creatively prepares you for the challenging peak pose side crow (parsva bakasana). By the time you get there, your confidence and your body are more than ready to take the weight into your arms.

That was the first time I have ever been able to get both feet off the floor in crow!! One day side crow will happen. What a great class
By the end of this class, you have that tingly euphoric feeling that a good flow class gives you.

This is one of my favorites. I incorporate this video into my practice once every few months to see how my strength is progressing. Great short flow into the peak pose.

Haven't done side crow in a long, long time. Glad to see I could still do it and very much appreciative of Rachel's approach to preparing for the pose.
Wonderful sequence! I haven't done side crow in a long time. This practice prepared me to find it once again! I love Rachel's cues - I always learn something new when I take her classes!

Very nice flow! I enjoyed taking several breaths to really relax into some poses. The challenging poses are always nice too!

What a fantastic prep for side crow! I've never done that pose before and was more successful with the one-armed version of the pose. Rachel does a great job of making you recognize all of the muscles at work when you're in a pose, which keeps you safe and aware! Thanks Rachel!
