This wonderfully thorough hatha yoga flow digs deep into the tension in the hips, legs and back, moving you through a gradual build-up to more challenging poses as the class progresses. Melissa maintains a calm energy, gentle pacing and difficulty level that is accessible to most students, although this would be considered as a more challenging beginner class.

This was a great practice for me today. My hips have been tight and I was sore from yesterday's "live" class, so I was looking for longer holds and a more gentle pace. I appreciated the length, including the longer-than-normal beginning meditation and shavasana. Thanks, Melissa, always enjoy your classes and happy to see a new addition! Namaste

That session was exactly what I needed after a long day of sitting at a computer writing papers for school. So many instructors on this site are incredible, but Melissa is definitely my go to. She has such a soothing energy it makes more challenging movements feel fluid and cozy. I definitely struggle with tight hips from too much sitting, cycling and driving. This class helped release those deep hip muscles that are so often ignored in our day to day lives. Also, loved that IT band stretch! Thank you, Melissa for another wonderful class!
