Rachel, thank you for this class that focuses on our hard working feet. As a veteran of six foot surgeries, I am constantly looking for better foot care ideas. I was worried that I would be unable to do much of this class but instead I found that the postures help a great deal. Like SmileMore, I love the ball-of-the-foot suggestion and found that my usually-sore-right-knee is not sore at all. Thanks again!

Hi Judith -
Six foot surgeries - wow - you must have a very keen appreciation indeed for the functionality of the feet. I am so pleased that the class helped to support this work. Happy practicing :)

i feel a renewed sense of awareness regarding the lower half of my body....from my hips all the way to my pinky toes. I love reconnecting with my inner thighs, knees, ankles, heels, balls of my feet and toes. This practice is perfect for finding healthy approaches to form and engagement. Feeling stronger and more stable! Thank you!

And I learned a few things, too. In Warrior Two: by adjusting the weight from the BALL of the front foot to the HEEL of the foot, it takes the pressure off of my bent front knee, thereby taking away the pain I often feel. Rachel's knowledge of the mechanics of yoga is such a great complement to the more spiritual practices on this site. I'm coming into my second year of a daily practice with DYWM and I'm still finding gems and these Ah-Ha! moments along the way. It's completely invigorated my 20-yr practice. I'm so grateful to David P for sharing this wonderful site and for all of the incredible instructors. Many thanks!

Hi, I am so pleased to hear that the "weight into the heel" technique helped your knees feel better. It's such a great tool for all bent-knee standing poses. And congratulations on your daily practice! What a wonderful commitment! Warm wishes from Vancouver!

Thank you for this challenging foot workout. When I first started practicing I could not even spread my toes, this is improving slowly. I really enjoyed this workout, thank again.
