14-Day Yoga Challenge: Day Two
In day two, Fiji takes time with each yoga pose to ensure that you are doing them properly, as you progress through the fourteen days. Slowing down the vinyasa flow, spending more time in poses like plank, chaturanga, trikonasana and bridge pose allows her to cue the muscles that should be active, creating a more solid pose and preventing injury. I love classes where the focus is brought to alignment and we really thing hard about how our bodies fit into each pose. Thank you!
I loved day two for its focus on the specifics of the poses - how to activate and protect the body and how to transition so that I feel stable and strong.
Thank you so much for this. I'm being given the tools I need to deepen my practice safely, and I appreciate so much.1
very good explanations on how to keep safe in each pose, but not enough stretching for my morning. had to do a few more poses after this practice. also should be rated beginner.
