14-Day Yoga Challenge: Day Two
In day two, Fiji takes time with each yoga pose to ensure that you are doing them properly, as you progress through the fourteen days. Slowing down the vinyasa flow, spending more time in poses like plank, chaturanga, trikonasana and bridge pose allows her to cue the muscles that should be active, creating a more solid pose and preventing injury. Great class :) it helps to be very aware of each pose
This slow and deliberate class was a great way to focus on alignment in some common poses, and I found it very helpful to revisit Warrior I & II and Trikonasana with this level of attention. Thank you, Fiji!
It's always great to go through the basics and be reminded about proper form. Also, I was worried I was going to have to skip Day 2 because I had a long day at work and then a dinner with co-workers from out of town. I was so happy when I got home and saw that this was only a 30 minute class and that I could fit it in before I had to get my beauty sleep!
day 2 :) well chosen focus on alignment! thanks for that...really made me readjust my warrior poses :) wonderful guiding through the whole class !
