Tortoise is so transformative, thank you for that soothing flow! Is there a name or Sanskrit equivalent for the pose with the foot towards the glute, leaning the upper body back? It was wonderful.

The full pose is called supta virasana (with both feet next to the gluts while reclining back) but there is no name for this version. It's a great stretch for the quadricep, isn't it?

Thanks for the prompt response David. Yes it's a deep quadricep stretch, even for hyper flexible folks like myself who find it difficult to work deeply into the muscle, and it's now a favorite! - Keri Ann

Just did 2nd day of Transform your life 30 Day Yoga Challenge. This hits the spot! Thank you for making 30-45 minute sessions. An hour every day has proved too difficult to come by.

Dear David
thank you so much for this relaxing session, once again it really relaxed me & made me realise how tense my shoulders are from cycling everyday.
I actually felt my left shoulder ( which was a bit sore) opening up and breaking free of the tension. Wonderful!
