David uses breathing, relaxation and deep stretching to help you let go of your problems and relieve your stress. It's a gentle hatha flow yoga class, that moves at a nice, slow pace and spends time in poses that will feel really, really good.

Thank you for this class! I now understand the breath of fire. I've only received real quick instruction and didn't have a grasp on it. The breath of joy was another helpful exercise. Now I understand the value of knowing these two breathing techniques.

I enjoyed this class, especially the breath of joy. I was expecting there to be more flow than there was, more poses and movement. It was a nice change though.
He gives directions and then doesn't actually follow them, "Take 3 breaths," but when you try to get focused on your count, he starts exhaling at random intervals. Side note, for a relaxation session, you should probably have at least some focus on the neck and shoulders, or else none of your female viewers will relax. This is probably one of the least enjoyable yogis I've experienced.
A a good slow-down, mostly breathing and some stretching. I could have used more detailed instruction on the quick breathing and some possible alternatives for a few of the stretches which seemed a little deep for my rusty knees. Still, a peaceful background and probably a good one to use after a stressful day.
thank you really relaxing and destressing loved the breathing techniques all though they felt kind of silly lol however it was great. I gave it a star less than five because i was looking for more of a workout but this is good to start out from the beginning. Love yoga. Gonna try the intermediate version when im done this and than the 14 day challenge. Awesome website too!!

Great way to start the day and the work week. I learned something new today about breath. Thank you. I noticed my self judgment when I almost fell backwards from squat position and then simply found it comical. I'll do this session again. Thank you.

David you are wonderful ! I am so very grateful to you for all that you do to help others ..... yoga is so necessary for us all.
I am thankful for the challenge. Although I have been practicing for many years, illness and injury have slowed me down these past 3 years, but I am almost 100% better. Now the real work begins of regaining my strength, flexibility, and endurance. These gentle sequences are prefect for getting back on the horse so to speak.
Very happy with Day #2 of the challenge. Today was my 1st day back to work after a break, and I was feeling the stress kick in already. This session was much needed!

... Maybe i should move to intermediate altho i am a tried and true hatha yogi, one position at a time and not a fan of flow sequences. Hmmmmm. Going to select my own routine for tonight.
The next class does have more asanas. It's still a gentle class, but more poses than the first two. The challenge may feel like it's progressing slowly at the beginning if you prefer the classes that focus more on stretch and strength, but we'll get there very soon, I promise. :-)

Although I practice here every day anyway, there is some sense of community with the 30 day challenge. Thank you for bringing the yoga studio right into my home, peers and all!
I didn't realize that I needed this today! This practice had some pleasantly unexpected moments, particularly the Breath of Joy, which I had never done before. At first, I felt a little silly, but it felt great and I found myself smiling throughout this practice. A great second day to the 30 Day Challenge, I will definitely be coming back to this one.
I have difficulties with my four teen daughters right now, and this practice REALLY helps me calm before I begin a day, homeschooling them, helping them in life, jobs, with relationships, etc. Thank you David, as you are a lifesaver!
