I really enjoyed the challenge brought in this class, but the pace in the beginning felt almost like a race. My breath couldn't keep up. However, I enjoyed the sequences after that. Nice morning flow!

It has been a full year since I started doing yoga. This time last year with one of Fiji's beginner Vinyassa classes that I stumbled through. The feeling of that first class was joy. I knew yoga was the right fit for me at this part of my journey. Proud of my progress and hopeful that although I stumbled a bit with this advanced class, I am moving forward. Thanks Fiji.

The pose is a variation on Parivrtta Janu Sirsasina. This is what I use for those who have a lot of space in this pose and tucking the bottom arm gives them the ability to go deeper.
