This is the first video from the "Yoga for Absolute Beginners" program that really felt like work! In the best way, of course :) I can feel my core!

I agree! It was unexpectedly challenging after the first two easier videos. In a good way.

These exercises are challenging to do but I'm able to get through them. She is so cheery and optimistic that it makes doing them much more pleasant even through the burn. :)

This was challenging but fun. I get a lot of pain in exercises where I have to put weight on my knees though, have anyone got any suggestions of wht I'm doing wrong?

Hi there.

You're not alone - many students find that their knees hurt when putting weight on them. The best thing you can do is have a folded blanket or firm pillow nearby to slip under your knees whenever you need it.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Take care,

I love Kim Wilson. I had never done yoga before discovering this site a couple of months ago. I do a video at least once a week, and if I want to feel challenged it is always Kim's video I do. I usually do the armilicious/bootylicious videos, but have recently started doing this one. It is a really good work out. It is challenging but not beyond my abilities completely.
Kim - I so thoroughly enjoy spending time with you through these videos. Honestly, you are just such a joy! If you are ever in NYC, please post it on this blog.
