Like a soothing balm, this class brings calm.
I haven't practiced in quite a while. I've had a particularly stressful week and this was just exactly what I needed. I thought initially that the breathing exercises ran a bit long, but ultimately I'm grateful as it helped with release. A great series of poses, good for beginners as well. I'll be looking for more videos from Nicky. Thank you!
I have used this particular practice before and found it extremely helpful at making my day more peaceful. I have returned to it following the passing of someone very dear to me. Again, it was just what I needed to continue my day confident and reassured. This truly is one of my favorite practices.
I enjoyed this class as an intermediate to beginner practitioner. Nicky provides options to make the poses more difficult or easier although she does not spend much time on technique (e.g., bend over with arms interlaced behind back while in a lunge pose). There were times that I became distracted by her giggling as I felt the need to look up at the screen to see what she was giggling about even though our eyes were supposed to be closed. I will be doing this again in the future.
