Pranayama Yoga To Move Energy
In this video, David teaches you how to use pranayama (yoga breathing exercises) to move energy through your body, clear out energetic blockages and help you feel lighter, less inhibited and more relaxed. You will be doing deep abdominal breathing, the cleansing breath, kapalabhati, retentions, yogic locks (bandhas) and meditation. A tiring week so these last three days have been very welcome and a nice contrast to the earlier classes which I found more difficult but thoroughly enjoyed all the same. I can't sit cross-legged as my left hip wont turn out much, simply because its stiff, but I keep trying. If I can feel like this after just 11 days I'm gently optimistic that I can feel even more subtle by the end of the challenge.
It is always difficult for me to control my breath but theses classes are helping me. Reaching 100 breaths was difficult but felt very good.
