In Ron's first class, he shows you why so many students love his style. He's a dancer, performer and massage practitioner, and all of these skills are expressed in his classes. This class is fun, vigorous and a beautiful progression into some very difficult standing balance postures. You will hear Ron mention Mula Bandha, which is a pelvic floor contraction. If you're unfamiliar with this, check out our Core Activation: Pelvic Floor video tutorial.

Thanks, Ron.

Your reminders to allow that ankles to "dance" immediately improved my balance. I was under the impression from prior experience that "locking" the entire leg was the goal. My daughter and I will definitely be coming back to your class. Someday we might even do the head stand!

I loved this class! I even surprised myself by doing a headstand haha! I loved the image of the center line, I think it is great when a teacher sticks with a concept to focus on all class and Ron definitely does this. Ron is so carefree throughout this practice calling being off balanced, 'dancing.' I also really enjoyed his reminders of not locking into a pose, such as moving your hips in Warrior 1.
Thanks Ron! I want more videos from you!

I really loved Ron's idea of witnessing the body during the different movements as opposed to enduring them. It was like a mantra to help focus your mind on the current actions: "I see the contours of my leg. I feel my foot on the earth" and etc. It really resounded with me and made for a GREAT class which I can't wait to do again!
