Power Yoga for Balance
In Ron's first class, he shows you why so many students love his style. He's a dancer, performer and massage practitioner, and all of these skills are expressed in his classes. This class is fun, vigorous and a beautiful progression into some very difficult standing balance postures. You will hear Ron mention Mula Bandha, which is a pelvic floor contraction. Ron has a unique style of teaching that allowed me to view familiar poses in new and unexpected ways. I loved the "dancing ankles", the reminders to actually look and witness the body in action, and the dynamic stretches (the windmilling arm stretch in the middle felt fabulous). Throughout the practice I felt strong, beautiful, and grounded. Thank you, Ron!!
This is one of the best classes I've ever done, and I've been practicing for some time. It's clear that Ron has a sound knowledge of biomechanics, neuroscience and energetics and he meshes them all into a unique, deep, fun experience.
