Hearty Hearts
This full-length, challenging, advanced power yoga class will knock your socks off. The theme is heart openers, so it's full of backbends, as well as Crista's sweet smile, core work, hip openers, splits, deep shoulder stretches, spinal stretches and arm balances. You may just find yourself doing bow pose (dhanurasana), forearm stand (pincha mayurasana) and full locust pose (purna shalabhasana). Don't be worried, though. She takes time to warm you up and prepare you for what is coming.

What a beautiful sequence of heart openers. I had done this class months ago and remembered how great my back and shoulders felt after dolphin pose, but the first half of the sequence opens them up so much prior to that. I love how this flow relaxes me and releases my traps and mid back, but also pays attention to hips, hamstrings and quads. Definitely one I come back to after too much computer and desk time.
I can only hope that some day I can do full dolphin, full locust and salambhasana with eagle arms!

Your teaching style, your flows, your spirituality all speak to me and have helped me grow, both in my yoga practice and as a person.
