Hearty Hearts
This full-length, challenging, advanced power yoga class will knock your socks off. The theme is heart openers, so it's full of backbends, as well as Crista's sweet smile, core work, hip openers, splits, deep shoulder stretches, spinal stretches and arm balances. You may just find yourself doing bow pose (dhanurasana), forearm stand (pincha mayurasana) and full locust pose (purna shalabhasana). Don't be worried, though. She takes time to warm you up and prepare you for what is coming.

I love it when I come to this site without a clear idea of what class I want to do, and find a new full length class from one of my favourite teachers! This is great stuff, I love how inventive Crista's classes are, and I know I need to work on my shoulder strength. The forearm stand and the locust are still beyond me, but good to have a challenge! The rest of the class is actually quite restful and calming - and one thing I always love about Crista's classes is that they always have sweet hip openers which as a runner I really appreciate. LOVED the leg stretches near the end, too. Great stuff, I'll be coming back to this one!
I've been toying with the idea of attempting an advanced class and I am so glad I decided to try this class out! I was also very excited for a new Crista class! This class is paced well and Crista always offers options so you can work toward the full pose, I can't wait to try this one again! Thank you for this!
Hurray! You're back :) So excited to see a new class from you and it was wonderful, as usual - loved the shoulder openers especially. Thank you thank you - oh, and have you ever thought about releasing a cd? (haha, do they even make cd's anymore? Showing my age ;)) - you have such a beautiful voice. <3
YES. THANK YOU. I was so so so excited when I saw a new advanced video from Christa and I was not disappointed (to say the least). It always amazes me how she seamlessly integrates a rigorous practice, moments of rest, and so much play into every class! You are a sweet yoga angel Christa, thank you thank you thank youuuuuuu <3
