Hanuman pose is the forward-back splits. To achieve this advanced pose, Crista has designed an ingenious - and fun - flow that stretches the body in just the right way and at just the right pace to lead up to the depth of hanuman. Loved the creative flow and unusual sequences and transitions, esp. with all the great side stretches.
And definitely doing modifications on side plank / Hanumanasana for the time being :-)

This wonderfully-flowing class was great for my very-tight hamstrings. The modifications helped me through the poses without hurting my knees. There are so many classes on DYWM that I try to not repeat, but this class will be part of my workout routine.
