Hanuman Fun
Hanuman pose is the forward-back splits. To achieve this advanced pose, Crista has designed an ingenious - and fun - flow that stretches the body in just the right way and at just the right pace to lead up to the depth of hanuman. It's a peak pose the deserves respect, and Crista honors it by addressing the muscles involved - the gluts, hamstrings, hip flexors and lower back - before moving into it for the first time. Get ready! You may just do the splits for the very first time!

I’m glad I warmed up with a short practice prior to this class. It jumps right into movement and balances. I had so much fun it felt like the time flew by! I almost wish it were a bit longer. I will certainly return to this practice as it is perfect for building strength, coordination and flexibility. Christa does a lovely job challenging, guiding, and encouraging along the way. I am especially thankful for the queues on alignment and stability. I really felt empowered and safe even in some very challenging sequences. Thank you for a bright and happy class!
Christa is certainly creative... and there were some good stretches toward the end of this class. Personally, I prefer a bit more warm up at the beginning of a class before diving into certain moves and balances. But overall, it was a pretty good class.
