Establishing Core Strength I
This class is meant to be a part of a series that you can see in our program Establish Your Core Stability and Strength and on our Yoga for Beginners page. After you have learned how to breathe and engage your core and stretch your body while your core is engaged, now David teaches you how to strengthen your core. Core strength will not only make you stronger and protect your spine, it will make you feel taller and lighter in your everyday life.

I have been searching to understand where my deep hip pain comes from, where in my body, what muscles are involved. This class focuses so acutely on the the core of this pain I feel a deep sense of completeness and hope that this group of classes may relieve me of this constant unease. I feel elated... Thanks.
David, this is such a great class. Most of us need to strengthen our core, it is so vital to back health. It is nice to have such a complete video. Instructions and pace were perfect.

Whenever I try to do the leg lifts and stretch (10:03 in video) I am having trouble keeping a straight and still posture.
I wasn't expecting to feel every muscle in my body with this routine. Especially the psoas muscle! Thank you for the clear instruction.
