A Deep Release for the Shoulders and Neck
This gentle, slow, hatha yoga class guides you into a series of poses that thoroughly stretch the muscles around the shoulders and neck. It moves gradually toward deeper stretches, allowing the body to warm up and prepare for a deeper release of the tighter muscles in your body. I've been doing gentle yoga for a couple of years now to deal with backproblems, it works quite good, when I succeed to have focus. _Most_ of the poses in gentle hatha/beginnner classes I manage without any major problems, but theres this one pose I never was able to do, and thats grabbing my toes. Even as a little kid (I'm 30 now).
Is it technically possible to train your body to be able to touch your toes when you are around 30? Any suggestion of videos / program to go through?
If not, is there an alternative to these poses. Everytime they show up I just do something else in the meantime, but I have the feeling those poses are really good for my body.
