This class is slow, gentle and offers a deep opening for the muscles around the hips, lower back and legs. Its pace alone allows you to sink into a beautiful state of calm. Add the beautiful sounds of Craig Paterson, master musician, and you will be lulled into a deep, lovely, relaxed state.

This session is perfect if you have stiff, painful hips. I went to my doctor due to extreme pain in my right hip, but mentioned to her that I was just starting yoga for my hip. She encouraged me to continue and in a few sessions the hip pain was gone! Thank you, David, for this wonderful sequence of stretches, but most importantly for having the vision to begin this website.

Thankyou for this lovely class - some beautiful stretches just where I need them. I seem to be getting a bit creaky these days, especially in the hips, and these stretches really feel good. The music is lovely too and the meditation at the end had me feeling beautifully relaxed, perfect just before bedtime. I like to do the same class over a few times and this is my new favourite. Thank you again!

Wonderful all-round and profound lower back, hip, and leg stretches - loved your gentle and clear instructions, and the perfect pace of it.
And the ducks and Canada geese commuting and communing - so Beacon Hill Park, eh?! :-)

Perfect post hike stretch

I am not a naturally flexible person - often it's uncomfortable - so this class was a very welcome discovery. Slow, steady and deep it has helped me touch my toes (finally!) as well as being a wonderful class to loosen tight hips and an even tighter lower back. This class is the perfect accompaniment for anyone who is a runner, hiker or lover of long, vigorous walks.
