This class is slow, gentle and offers a deep opening for the muscles around the hips, lower back and legs. Its pace alone allows you to sink into a beautiful state of calm. Add the beautiful sounds of Craig Paterson, master musician, and you will be lulled into a deep, lovely, relaxed state.

The third time I did this class I experienced a deep release of joy. I've heard that the psoas (hip flexor) is the muscle of the soul and after this class I know it can release powerful emotions.

Relief for lower back pain

I have been working on advancing my yoga practice and had gotten away from doing slow, stretching classes such as this one. A few days ago I tweaked my lower back while practicing forearm stand, so I revisited this video today to stretch out that area. I feel so much more relaxed and pain-free already! Thank you so much for providing a variety of types of classes at different levels with excellent instruction.

This class is pure heaven! Feeling so stiff after a run yesterday and this has made me feel so such much more relaxed, looser and free. A gorgeous savasana at the end too. David, your classes are always so rewarding- thank you!

This is becoming one of my favorite classes. Initially it was very challenging, I am struggling with a great deal of tightness and stiffness in my hips and hamstrings. But as the weeks go by, I am continually amazed each time I do this class I find a little deeper release, a greater range of motion, I'm seeing steady progress each time. Thank you so much David for making the class available, you are such a blessing! :) Namaste

Just did this class after a long hiatus from doing any yoga or stretching ( why do we do this to ourselves?). The class was a great way to get my hips and lower back moving again. My only criticism is that wish the poses were held 2-3 breathes longer. Will return to this class for more hip work and leg stretching!
