If you have taken some time away from yoga, whether it's due to an injury or other life event, this is a great class to get you going once again. Fiji slows down the typical pace of her class to spend time re-establishing yoga principles while moving you through a fun, dynamic vinyasa class.

Equipment: Block
Style: Vinyasa/Power Yoga

Hi Connie,

I am so happy to hear that this site and this class has been part of your path to healing. Yoga for me has been an ongoing process of getting to know myself, and what is true in my own heart. This practice was meaningful to me also, I had been away for a few months due to medical reasons. Coming back reminded me what an important part of my life yoga had become. Your story and others like it are why I stay motivated to film and share this incredible practice. Thank you!

I've been away from yoga for health reasons. This is a nice way for me to ease back into it. Thank you Fiji.

I practiced yoga consistently for a few years but I haven't been consistent for the past year and a half, unfortunately. The teacher in this video really understood her audience in terms of being away from the mat for a while but still kept it challenging enough. The production of this video is awesome with no cheesy music and her communication skills are absolutely amazing. I loved this!

After surviving a hit a run crash almost a year ago (the 30th) I am coming back to the mat. Whilst having practiced for 30++ years my injuries, which were extensive, healed faster than expected by the physicians, but the journey has been frightening on many levels... and now healing... thanks to starting the 30 day yoga challenge. This class was brilliant for me, your slow, deliberate intention is what is needed for me to effectively open my chakras and heal my inner child. Whilst I finished the practice, it was challenging for me and I began weeping. Thank you for your teaching here. This is my 2nd class with DYWM and my first in the 30 day challenge. I plan on becoming a Subscribing Member due to this class today. I have gratitude for my mat again. Namaste (from Ireland).

I realize this is three months later than I had hoped to send, but I know DYWM can help you physically and mentally. I had a severe emotional challenge with a teen daughter and this program helped me extensively. I am a member now for years and do yoga EVERY day. I am so thankful you have survived your crash, now you can THRIVE in life as well. Best wishes to you. Namaste (from the USA!)

Nice effective class. I'm pushing myself to do this challenge and not the beginner one because my collarbone still aches nearly three years after surgery. I'm glad I did it - I added a child's poses as and when I needed to, but I was able to complete the class in more or less the same time as Fiji. :)

I've been away from my mat for too long and really needed this! Thank you for such a clear, calming, and encouraging class ♡

Thank you! Even though I haven't been away from the mat, this is a great class to take to remind my mind and body of good alignment with the poses. Using the block is SOOO helpful!
