David has personal experience with sciatica and he understands how to provide effective relief for chronic sciatic nerve pain. This class repeats the best (and most uncomfortable!) yoga poses and stretches for sciatic pain, helping you release the key muscles that are responsible for the tightness and pain in the area around the sciatic nerve.

Yes! I think I will do this frequently. This was challenging but I feel so good now.

I have been doing yoga for my back for years now. Best class I have found for lasting sciatic relief. My hips, hamstrings, and I say thank you, David.

I have a couple of questions about what I am experiencing. As I do you sciatic yoga. I have done it for 4 days, a bit of it in the morning and then all at night, When we do the bicycle movement my goin/ upper thighs feels very different than when I move my right thigh. It feels tight and gets tired almost immediately. What might I do about that?

Also, I wouls really like to understand the difference between a pain and stretch. I have been dealing with this for 5 years and I think I have lost the ability to know. I know the difference when I get a sharp pain, but you talked about a dull ache. That seems to be more of what I experience. Thank you for this video. It has been one of the only things that has helped even with a lot of treatment!

Hi, there. It's difficult to know how to answer your first question. I think you would need someone to have a look one-on-one. As for the 2nd question, there are two ways to look at it - in the moment and the after effects. In the moment, you want to avoid all pain. In some cases, a dull ache is ok but everyone interprets that differently. So that's why the after effects are important. How does it feel the next day? Is it more sore? Is there something about it that doesn't feel right? The information that your body gives you during the two days after is very important.
