If you have lower back tightness or pain, sometimes a gentle class where you hold the poses for longer periods of time can be the most effective way to find relief. Sarah-Jane's choice of poses will help you do that in this 30-minute yin yoga class. She helps you release many of the muscles that are commonly involved in lower back issues, and she helps you through it with specific guidance and knowledge of anatomy. Medicine for computer work thank you, such relief. I have a major problem on my left side when twisting with knees to the right, to the point where it is tough for me to figure out how far to let my knees drop (i'm talking even a few inches to the right). I can't seem to find a place to rest where i feel a stretch but no pain sensations. Any suggestions welcome.

Thank you for your comment. Have you tried stacking pillows under your knees when you bring them to that side?

Hi there- Have you tried using pillows under the knees on the side where you cant drop? Or rotating towards your sofa or couch? All the best. SJS

Poses feel great after I'm finished, but it seems to be feeling good in my UPPER back. I'll keep at it and see if a week improves my lower lumbar.

I recently started a new job where I am sitting all the time, and my back has started to hurt. This is my first time using this video and I can already feel a difference! Can't wait to do it again!

This feels amazing :) I have anxiety and asthma which effect my breathing and after this my back and lungs feel so open and amazing :) I am a beginner, and while its difficult for me to calm my mind and achieve deep breaths, I still feel completely revitalized after doing this. Helps me crack my back in all those hard to reach places too.
