If you have lower back tightness or pain, sometimes a gentle class where you hold the poses for longer periods of time can be the most effective way to find relief. Sarah-Jane's choice of poses will help you do that in this 30-minute yin yoga class. She helps you release many of the muscles that are commonly involved in lower back issues, and she helps you through it with specific guidance and knowledge of anatomy. Thank you so much for this video! Today was my first day and the soothing tones of Sarah Jane's voice, the gentle music and the sometimes exquisite stretches were just perfect. I can't wait until tomorrow for my next session.

This was my first time for this class. I've been working on the intermediate level but recently have had a great deal of lower back stiffness. What a relief to see this on the opening menu. I will try it again as I expect it will take a bit to regain my previous flexibility. It's good to slow down and focus. Thank you

This is a gentle, well-paced day. A great combination of poses to either start or end a day. I loved the amount of direction to guide, check in with feelings to see if I'm hitting the right spots, and always letting me think of where I can improve. Also, there are many that this gives me to consider what poses I might do for a few minutes during the middle of a work day. Excited for more!

Thank you so much for the lovely comment. It's ok that you didn't do everything to the fullest- it was your first time! Muscles and joints need to slowly gain the memory. It's all connected to your brain as well. This is a gradual practice, with practice you'll go the length needed by your body. Thank you so much for attending and more classes to come!
