It has been a frustrating

It has been a frustrating challenge. This, among many of the "beginner" videos, are so difficult. It is really discouraging. Many instructors in classes I have attended have given good advice for if you can't quite achieve a pose - but if you don't give me suggestions on how to do that (i.e. in this video I can't reach my own elbows behind my back OR bend my arms way forward) then I feel like I'm just hanging there and not able to think fast enough about how to adapt the pose myself to achieve the intended stretch. It's too fast and assumes too much flexibility for a true beginner. I am by no means intermediate but this isn't the first time I've done yoga and I don't think I can continue the challenge. It's making me feel sad about what little my body can do, when I was hoping for the opposite.

I am glad others are able to benefit from the challenge, and I thank all of the instructors for their efforts. I'll just have to practice a lot more to enjoy the beginner classes here.

Yes, it was prob more of an advanced beginner / intermediate - perfect for me, short and sweet. LOVE the focus on a CHAKRA, and would love to see more of those. Haven't done Wild Thing and Fish pose in a while. Love your choice of poses, clear instructions, and sharing the benefits of them. Will check out more of your classes!

A fulfilling challenge

"Challenging beginner" is a perfect way to describe this class. I thoroughly enjoyed it, as back bending is easily my weakest skill in yoga. This class helped me slow down and settle deeper into back bending than I maybe ever have. I absolutely loved the sound of wind and bird song during savasana, it brought me out of this years harsh winter and reminded me of the summer to come. Will definitely come back to this class! Thank you.

What a great transitional class from beginner to intermediate. I loved the flow, the gentleness, and the challenge. Great work! I'm looking forward to seeing more from you.

Also, I wanted to let all who have started this site aware that I am so thankful to have found this site. This has really opened the "yoga door" for me. You guys have done a superb job of giving information about the yoga practice. I greatly appreciate it and will continue to spread the good word for you guys!

Agree with the other comments. This class was way to fast and a bit more challenging for a beginner. So far my favorite class was Melissa Krieger's hatha flow from Day 9. Please add more of those to the beginner section of the 30-day challenge.

While I can see the feedback that this wasn't a beginner class, it's a great one for those of us who are returning to the mats after a long break. I'm finding myself kind of choosing either the intermediate or beginner depending on how I'm feeling that night. This was a nice a good one for someone like me.
