You spend most of the class lying down, the rest seated, and you complete the class with a wonderful savasana. Satiya helps you release your hips, hamstrings, lower back, hip flexors and upper back in a calm, mindful way. This yoga class is a particularly effective yoga for seniors class, since it helps you adjust your yoga practice as you move into your sixties.

I struggled with some of the poses but still enjoyed the practice. I practice in the morning and definitely think this practice would be more rewarding if saved for evening. I was looking forward to a relaxing savasana as detailed in the description but there wasn’t one.
