Excellent guidance. I must have been ready for this one although I sat out the side crow and fallen angel in favor of forward crow (which I normally can’t do) and extended child’s pose. Thank you!

The opening image scared me—definitely not a level 3, but I could do a lot of this class. I love the spirit Ms. Friel brings.

I enjoyed the twists, trying Fallen Angel, and core strength exercises. I just wish that Jonni-Lyn would not rush through vinyasas, which seems to be a common pattern in her classes. It makes me feel as though she is only interested in certain poses and not focusing on the flow itself. Over the years I have focused on not getting sloppy in vinyasa and being mindful to really use the breath to move through each movement. I don't want to have to revert to sloppy movements where I could actually injure myself so I have to purposely slow down myself and not follow her pacing during these parts.
In this class she also rushed through the breathing during downward dog - She instructs us to take 5 long inhales and exhales but she rushes through this on both occasions. It would have been better if she had said to just take 3 long breathes and then not rush through them. : )

YES. I love Jonni-Lyn's classes, but I also don't like a rushed vinyasa flow because I also have found that I am not as "settled" into the flow, and this makes me wary of running the risk of injury.

I'd never tried fallen angel before! It was very fun. And through this challenge I am really enjoying Jonni-Lyn's classes and teaching approach.
