Fiji's third class in this 7-part series is a more challenging intermediate class due to the long holds. This power yoga class explores the energy of the third chakra, the chakra of the solar plexus or the manipurna chakra. Vitality, mental clarity, self-confidence and wisdom are qualities of the manipurna chakra, and Fiji supports your journey into these qualities within your self with grace and skill. This chakra is associated with the color yellow, which you can see is a part of Fiji's flashy outfit.

A few advanced poses with modifications offered. Definitely challenging to hold some poses and extended time. Enjoyable class although I think it was more difficult than Chakra 2 which was labeled advanced. Thanks Fiji!

Thanks for the feedback everyone. It looks like it's best to leave it as intermediate, but I'll include in the description that it's a more challenging intermediate class due to the long holds.

You did it again Fiji! This was an excellent test of endurance and the dialogue got me through it. Not being used to the extra long holds was certainly challenging for me, but I wouldn't classify this class as advanced as the poses themselves are not that difficult. I really appreciate your words which identified a personal need to balance and take care of the area around the manipura and will come back to this class again. Thank you!

I would definitely classify this as "advanced", although don't let that stop you from practicing. There were many times I had to modify a pose to suit me, but that's the beauty of yoga - no judgment! The message was a powerful one, something that resonated deep within my soul. I will be coming back to this one, time and time again.

Thanks for the feedback. If there are others who feel the same way, we can shift it to 'advanced'. If anyone out there agrees, let me know!

I found the long holds challenging, my muscles were shaking, however, I would say intermediate. It was a slow practice that somehow flew by. Felt well balanced but not advanced. Namaste!

Yet another wonderful practice and exactly what I needed. Thank you Fiji! (Again.) With regards to its level, while it wasn't a problem at all as modifications are offered all the way through, I felt it was comparatively more advanced than the Chakra 2 practice, which is labelled as advanced.
Hope this helps :)

I do most of Fiji's intermediate and advanced videos- I would categorize this one as advanced.

I agree that this should be categorized as Advanced. I have been practicing several times a week with the help of your wonderful site for 2 1/2 years now, and I can do all of the intermediate classes without any issues. However, I found the long holds in this one to be a huge challenge even though I consider myself fairly strong. I had to shorten some of them. Still, a wonderful class that had a profound impact on me at exactly the right time. Thank you!
