Thank you so much for this wonderful video. I discovered Do Yoga With Me over a year ago (I think!) when I was very ill with a health condition. I was left unable to do much of anything at all and I was in a lot of physical pain. I was already practicing a little hatha yoga but I needed more variety but was too unwell to be able to make it to classes. I found this site and have used this site regularly since then. I love all the videos I've done and have learnt so much that I've found myself doing my own practice to suit my immediate needs and the time I have available.
Today I was feeling very tired and not at all interested in doing my daily yoga, but I decided to search through all the beginner classes and I found this one. What a find! It was so perfect for what I needed today and I feel relaxed, my body is more comfortable and I am refreshed. I also found the level of strength work in this one perfect for me. After being ill for so long I am very deconditioned and weak and am trying to build that up my strength slowly. This class was just challenging enough for me and not so hard that I'll have excessive pain over the next few days.
Please please do more beginner hatha classes!! You have a lovely teaching style, soothing voice and wonderful instructions. You are my new favourite instructor, along with David of course!
Thanks you for the feedback everyone - especially great to hear that my vocal cues are helpful. It is important to me that my students not have to look at me to know what they are doing, and instead be able to have more of an inward focus. David and I plan to film two new classes this spring and summer - a moderate Hatha and a Yin, so look out for them :)
