14-Day Yoga Challenge: Day Thirteen
Day thirteen introduces 'true twists', and fills the class full of them! You will also be strengthening and stretching your shoulders with planks and binds, strengthening and stretching the legs with chair pose and lunges and spending some time with some satisfying floor poses to lead you into a sweet sivasana. WOW, my body feels so good after all the stretches and twists we did today! The alignment of the hips that Fiji reminds us to do while in the prayer twists and through out the whole class was so helpful. Twisting out the intestines, the kidneys, and adrenal glands are all so good for the body and mine feels great. The longer holds were challenging, but I stayed with it using breath and trusted I was safe while pushing myself to the edge. Thank you Fiji and looking forward to tomorrow’s class. I am wising it would still go on after tomorrow, so I may just start over!! Namaste <3
This was exactly what I needed today! Nice combination of strength and stretching with all of the twists, so not too difficult, but not too easy either.
Invigorating!! Can't believe this challenge is done (first time around at least) tomorrow! Love these twists to wring out tension in the body!
