This vigorous flow with Fiji stokes the inner fire with core work and challenging asanas. The inner fire helps us shed that which holds us back and gives us courage to step into something new.

This can either be done as a stand-alone class or as Day 1 of the Daily Dose 30-Day Intermediate Yoga Challenge.

with this (and other clases) i have been wondering: i can technically get into champasana but i need to somewhat awkwardly lean forward to actually get a hold of my foot and would then straighten up into bound half moon. is this okay? or should i instead lean arm and leg backwards until - someday eventually - they reach each other this way? (the same question goes for this kind of bind on the ground by the way - i cannot remember the name of the asana though)

Hi Nina, yes getting into the pose can sometime require us to be creative and work with our body's proportions and abilities. I find getting into the bind easier if I place a block under the hand that is on the ground.

thanks, that helps! i was wondering if i was "cheating" my way into the pose rather than working towards getting there slowly
i will try the block version next time, thank you for the inspiration

This sequence was the perfect combination of twists, triangles, balance challenges! I will definitely be coming back to this one :) Thank you!
