Very helpful!
Such a great class, Guy gives calm cues and the pace is also slow and deliberate. Recommended! Thank you Guy
So enjoying this challenge Guy and loving the improvements I am seeing in my practise. Thank you very much!
Thank you Guy. A really helpful and enjoyable class. Some useful tips to help me with balance issues.
Wonderful class and the balancing was just what I needed. Thank you Guy I will be doing this class again!
Thank you, Guy!
Thank you, Guy!
This was perfect! I've been practicing yoga here and there for five ish years and for 10-60 minutes (almost) every morning for nearly two years (pandemic, eh?). This daily practice has taught me that my legs are twisted (hips out a little bit, knees in a decent bit, feet out a lot) and by using mindful movement, I have begun correcting them. I've noticed a difference in how my legs "want" to move and noticed all of the "shortcuts" I was taking when balancing (like turning my foot out instead of activating my arches). So now all of this mucking about with my legs has just TANKED my standing balance and I need to go back to basics. Most videos that I've found to help with balance are just full of lots of balancing poses, which isn't helpful to someone like me who is really trying to start from scratch and teach my body how to move correctly, after 30+ years of moving incorrectly (and the resulting knee and hip pain).
All this to say THANK YOU for an amazing beginner balancing video. This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. I fell out of dancer on both legs, but was able to stay in tree pose on one leg, so that's progress! I will be doing this video again and again and again! The divine light in me sees and honours the divine light in you, Guy. Namaste.

Wonderful class with Guy! I struggle with balance because of some nerve damage in my left foot so this was incredibly helpful (and gentle which I need). I will be doing this class again.
Fantastic, very grounding practice, perfect for those days when you feel like flying while still connecting to the earth.
Loved this balancing class Guy. The pace is perfect as is your calm manner and clear voice.
ThankyouGuy.===

Balance is a struggle for me these days. This is a wonderful class to allow some slow focus. I really enjoyed it and need it.
Thank you, Guy.
I loved this class. I loved Guy's explanations....will continue this practice. Thank you Guy.
Enjoyed this class very much: the pace, the poses, and learning some of the basics about balance. Learned several new things--thanks. Also, serendipitously, the class turned out to be wrist friendly!! I have injured both wrists and am always looking for classes which place very little stress on the hands or wrists. (Has DYWM considered something like a legend or coding system, similar to restaurant menus? WF for This Class is Wrist Friendly, etc? Or labels so that when I search for wrist friendly classes, these would pop up? Just a thought.)
Enjoyed Guy's presentation and teaching style--and the fact that he 'fell' out of a pose prematurely :) Made me feel better about my wobbles.
Thanks for the feedback. I love the idea. Labelling classes is really complicated - all you need to do is imagine all of the potential limitations that people might have. We will be attempting to make this easier, though, by expanding our search filters. Those will be ready sometime in February.
Applying search filters to our pages would be wonderful! I have so many saved, it is hard to sort through them. Also, a preview of the notes we make would help so we didn't have to open it up to see each one. Thank you for listening - I love DYWM!
My pleasure and thanks!
Guy takes you through a mindful, slow balancing practice. Enjoyed it because it made me feel and think about what my body was doing during each pose.
