In this power yoga practice, Fiji invites you to breathe energy and light into your own sense of self. The asana practice can often be focused on our physical well being, but the benefits of yoga are far reaching and also enhance our internal well being. Fiji reminds us in this intermediate practice that we are each unique individuals with incredible gifts to offer. The flow she designed for this yoga class helps us tap into that sense of self, creativity and confidence, and increases our ability to share our unique light.

Thanks Fiji. Perfect yoga as I chose to quit a job that didn't meet my needs for integrity. And also doing my first 10k run on Hawaii, where I moved. I feel clear, calm and happy. You are such a wonderful instructor. Grateful for the practice with you today. Jodie

This was just what I needed this morning. As Fiji says, it's ok to fall on your rear end lol. Since I'm learning firefly pose, that's exactly what happened when I tried it. :) I was laughing at myself as I was trying it. I also loved the empowerment message!

I really enjoyed the movements - quite different from what I've done so far and very interesting. The empowerment talk wasn't for me, though.
I like that this is not described as "introduction to titibasana". I would have felt intimidated by that. It's the perfect choice to make it playful, something that may happen for one's body or not.

I love Figi's approch to teaching a class. Yoga isn't just about the asana, it is just as much, if not more, about what is happening inside. Figi has a true gift to bring this out in her classes. She is a wonderful teacher and I would love to meet her someday.
People say Fiji talks too much, especially in this practice, but I personally love hearing her insight. Yesterday I was feeling very down on myself, and my self-esteem was in the pits. I always come back to this practice when I need a shot of self love. Thank you, Fiji. You have guided me through many, many of my dark days — with this practice and all of your others. I’m feeling energized and full of love and kindness today.
Not sure this is the appropriate place for my comment. I came to this class via "vigorous/energy" under the new Focus dropdown list. While I liked the class a lot and there's definitely a time and place for it, it's not what I expected to find under vigorous/energy. I would have expected vigorous/energy to be more active and energetic, and this class felt the opposite. Long, strong holds with time for reflection.

I had to stop after 20 minutes because of the talking. There was almost no physical work being done and just talking. This one is definitely more meditative than a flow practice.
A beautiful practice with wonderful details and explanations given by Fiji. This is a mindful/present moment practice to get in touch with your inner self. Great for any level. Physically and mentally rewarding by the end of the practice.
Lots of good thoughts here Fiji, plus I had a good laugh. Ready for my trail hike now.

Detailed, highly useful instructions and explanation of concepts behind some of the poses. Every word she uttered was helpful in refining the pose. No verbal excess, contrary to an earlier comment. One of the best online instructors I have come across.
I felt like this was a good reset on foundational practice but also on the self. Thank you, Fiji!

This is just what I needed after a long weekend of unhealthy ness. The power poses were held for the perfect amount of time. And I added my own savasana at the end.

Yesterday, I needed just that, Self esteem and empowerment. This class truly helped to trust in that inner strength, and started the day with right balance of power, harmony and, connection with self and others.

This was a tough one for me mentally--the physical grounding of the postures were amazing but my mind kept teasing the edge of release--I even stopped and started it over at the very beginning because I caught myself going down a dark rabbit hole of self-digust and doubt as we sat and just felt our breath move through the body. Classes like these are so important for reminding ourselves to meet our Self in the middle between the two extremes. To find, as Fiji puts it, "a voice that's not telling and a voice that isn't faint".

I am in a strange moment where I have a good problem to have.. I am finishing my studies and there is no clear path of what my heart wants to do.. Many ideas, many possibilities in thought but no certainty. During this practice I started feeling the connection of 3rd and 4th chakra (self and heart respectively) and at the end I was crying out of an immense Love feeling.
Recharged with peace, and serenity. Certainty in God. Thank you for allowing this moment to be opened.

Thank you so much for this. I have felt as though I've lost so much of myself to grief in the past few months. This practice helped me remember that although I've lost a lot, I haven't lost myself. I am here and I am strong and I will carry on. (I also discovered how challenging it can be to do yoga while crying...!) I just keep breathing through it...:)

Just what I needed after a disappointing day at work. Needed to remember who I am and that I'm not defined by what others think.
Loved the talking, loved the slow entry into fun and playful poses. I've recent experience several losses recently and have not even had the time for self care. This class, with what other call chatter, was perfect to keep me from my own minds chatter so that I could begin to find myself and heal. Thank you as always, wonderful class, wonderful sequencing and wonderful words of wisdom.
A nice class but too much chat for me
I am recovering from pregnancy and learning to love my postpartum body. It's been frustrating and challenging and my inner voice has not been positive lately. This class slowed things down and left me feeling strong and grounded. Thank YOU!
While I am generally a big fan of Fiji's classes , I love her voice and how wonderfully she guides me, this class appeared to me more as a beginner's class with very little physical challenge.
