This is the first in a series of three classes where Tracey takes you to the wonderful arm balance flying pigeon pose (eka pada galavasana). We call this class 'Preparation', since it warms your body and prepares it for the next classes in the series, Flying Pigeon Pose: Going Deeper and Flying Pigeon Pose: The Final Step, which will lead you into the full pose. But this class is not just about getting to step 2! It is a vigorous power yoga flow that you will thoroughly enjoy, lightened with Tracey's wonderful personality and charm.

fabulous class. Thank you , Tracey.
Love this class! Thank you Tracey!
So nice the way Tracey warms you up, then builds the intensity, and finishes with a reminder to “stay inspired.” Tracey is a brilliant guide!
how lovely and so different
What a captivating challenge. I get bored easily after 20-30 mins, that was so fun and challenging at the same time. Thank you. Can't wait to complete all sessions til in get to the peak pose, :D
Wonderful class Tracey, thank you!! I came back to it after a few months of having sciatica and shoulder problem and it felt amazing both for my body and my mind- it was the first time in weeks that I spent a whole hour focusing on the movements rather than worrying about what's happening outside! I am really grateful!xx
I loved this class - unfortunately I was interrupted 5 x!!!! I will make sure I have set aside time next time - it was really wonderful.
This class is awesome!! I was in Victoria recently for a quick overnight trip, and almost made it to one of Tracey's classes in person, but I was short on time and opted for a hike in East Sooke Regional Park instead. Hopefully next time I'll finally be able to take a class with Tracey in real life because she is my favorite.
Careful with your knees.
Thank you. Wonderful as alway. Returning to this older practice after knee operations and investigation into yoga and knee injuries. Deep bends in the knees with movement destroys the knees over time (been practicing g for 30 years and teaching for 15) The flow into cow pose with goddess arms is not good for knees. Be careful and avoid that move. It could be it feels fine now, but over time, it grinds away the meniscus. I love you Tracey. You're fantastic.
I think that is the best class that I've done with Tracey. Good flow, not too difficult but certainly challenging.
Even managed to surprise myself and held crow pose for a good 5+ seconds.
Loved it!
Tracy is the best! And this class is just perfect: challenging and relaxing at the same time! Thanks so much!
This is such a wonderful and complete practice. Great mind-body emphasis. The sequence in and out of fire log is simply brilliant. I feel powerful and renewed. Thank you for all that you do, Tracy! Much love.
I adore Tracy's classes as I feel like I usually am able to get every bit of my being stretched. This class felt wonderful on the hips, quads, psoas and shoulders. It's perfectly paced and peaceful. More Tracy classes please!
So lengthening, relaxing and peaceful. Loved it!!
I was inspired to do this class from all the other comments. It was a perfect class. I have just done it for the first time and I already can't wait to do it again! Thank you Tracy
Tracy brings joy and encouragement to this practice. I use yoga to balance out running and circuit training. Her class makes my hip flexors and low back feel so good.
I love the balance between movement and stillness in the
Is practice. The poses were held just to the point of release but not too long.
Totally love this class! I've a way to go yet but it's great to have this to aspire to! Thanks Tracy!
Hurray on so many levels...
I really loved this class. It felt wonderfully thorough. I am looking forward to doing the other two classes.
Secondly, I was so excited to not experience the dreaded pause that comes from buffering! The entire class played smoothly without a hitch!
Great class with unique sequencing, gentle encouragement, and a plentitude of juicy stretches. Thanks!
Amazing!
Loved the creative sequences and clear instructions and deep motivations - thank you Tracey!
However, had recurring buffering issues between 30 and 35 min, reloaded about 4 times - suggestions?
Try changing the streaming speed of the video. I think it defaults to "auto", but I change it to 360 and it works fine without a loss of video quality and with no buffering issues. Hope that helps!
Yes, that's a good suggestion. Also, let us know what device and browser you're using, Melanie. We are aware of an issue with iPads that our video host is working hard on resolving. If that's not the case for you, we can contact vimeo with your specific issue.
I have this same problem on many of your videos. I have changed the buffering speed which helped once, but not consistently. I am on a Mac laptop and use the Chrome browser. I have actually been finding my yoga in other places recently because of the consistent buffering issues I've found here. :(
Hi there.
It's great to hear that it's working for you now. In the future, you can change the resolution to 360 by clicking on the settings icon at the bottom right of the video to help it stream better.
Take care,
David
Lovely practice. Soothing physically, emotionally and spiritually. Lots of fun. Thank you!
