I appreciate the slowing down of some poses. I do find the repetition of certain poses throughout the challenge is leading to some overuse discomfort in my 50+ year old joints. I have decided to take a couple days away from this challenge, but look forward to restarting soon.

I'm with you on the 50+ old joints! I am thinking of this as a 14-step challenge rather than 14-days. When I listen to my body it tells me that it's okay to have more than 24 hrs in-between classes, esp if I've been particularly active the previous day doing other things. Don't know about you, but when I was younger a 14-day challenge would mean I'd try to take in fewer days (she said 14? ha! I can do it in 7!).

Both a very challenging but also accessible class. It’s always good to meet your body where it’s at in any given moment but it was great to have the reminders in this class. I have the impulse to push too far into poses that my body isn’t ready for sometimes so it was very helpful to be reminded to pay attention to your breathe and alignment. Also always love the windmill shoulder circle movement.

Definitely challenging intermediate as each pose is held for quite a long time while Fiji talks you through it or offers increasingly difficult variations you might like to try. Excellent reminders to listen to your breath and your body, to help make that decision on how far to go and which variation to take in the moment, with no expectations. Very enjoyable!

Figi, I am really loving the progression of these classes, love the bind work and preparation for them. I always learn something new, something to ponder. Thank you!
