This dynamic flow with a focus on satisfying hip openers, lower back releases and poses that build a lot of core strength and overall flexibility. Within the vigorous flow, Fiji encourages you to connect to the energy of the second chakra (svadhishthana), which is located around the sacrum. The element associated with the sacral chakra is water and the color is orange. Please note that this class directly speaks to issues around the sacral chakra which may be triggering or sensitive to some individuals.

I am loving this series and have revisited both weekly and simply cannot wait for the completion of the series. When will the next ones be released?

Whoa, thank you. I've always been hypermobile except when the spine is in deep flexion (like in cat). The first time I really noticed this was in rabbit pose. That pose burns all up and down the muscles that run either side of my spine. It's actually the most difficult pose for me. Which is so confusing, when I've never seen anyone else struggle the way I do with it. Some days, I can't event connect my forehead to my knees because it burns so much (like today). I had the same sensation in similar movements in this class. I never connected this with trauma, though. Which I have in abundance. Something to investigate. Thanks :)
