Wow! This was EXACTLY what I needed today. I knew I was holding on too tightly - emotionally, physically - but I had no idea how much until I let it go. Thank you Tracey for this gift. I will come back to this class again. And again. And again. :)

I'm so happy to hear that! I know life is quite challenging for all of us at the moment and it is a good reminder to let go and soften our grip. I welcome you back again and again as we steady ourselves and keep breathing deeply. :)

beautiful, thank you so much. I am interested in you mentioning we hold emotional memories particularly in hips and hamstrings as I have alot of tightness there - can you point me to more info or practice around this please? wishing you every blessing, namaste Zoe

Hi Zoe, emotional memories are often referred to as Samskara's. There are habits, addictions and memories that we hold in our body. The tenderness, tightness and even resistance is both physical and emotional ~ so many levels to consider. Yoga International, Yoga Journal have good articles to research, and a wonderful book I recommend to my students is Anatomy of the Spirit by Caroline Myss.
Hope that helps, with love Tracey
