In this class, Tracey helps you forgive and move on by grounding you in the present moment through a sequence that helps build strength, flexibility and endurance. Give yourself the space to release, let go and forgive.
Beautiful transitions, meditative and calming repetition, soothing words. One to come back to again and again. Always feel better afterwards, always experience and take away something new.
Revisiting this amazing class - sure, the movements feel great in the body (fluid, familiar, spacious) but this class is fantastic for clearing the mind from toxic thought patterns, old stories and resentments, grudges and other negative gunk. So glad to have chosen it again today! Thanks, Tracey!
This really is an incredible sequence. I never know just how much I need it until I do it - and I always underestimate its power to release what I'm holding in or holding onto. Thank you, Tracey.
Wow! This was EXACTLY what I needed today. I knew I was holding on too tightly - emotionally, physically - but I had no idea how much until I let it go. Thank you Tracey for this gift. I will come back to this class again. And again. And again. :)
I'm so happy to hear that! I know life is quite challenging for all of us at the moment and it is a good reminder to let go and soften our grip. I welcome you back again and again as we steady ourselves and keep breathing deeply. :)
beautiful, thank you so much. I am interested in you mentioning we hold emotional memories particularly in hips and hamstrings as I have alot of tightness there - can you point me to more info or practice around this please? wishing you every blessing, namaste Zoe
Hi Zoe, emotional memories are often referred to as Samskara's. There are habits, addictions and memories that we hold in our body. The tenderness, tightness and even resistance is both physical and emotional ~ so many levels to consider. Yoga International, Yoga Journal have good articles to research, and a wonderful book I recommend to my students is Anatomy of the Spirit by Caroline Myss.
Hope that helps, with love Tracey
Incredible class - I never want it to end! Beautifully rhythmical, takes me out of my anxiety completely. Thank you so much Tracey for your brilliant, gentle guidance - helping me find power when I need it most.
You are very welcome ~ and I'm happy that is giving you some well deserved energy where you need it. Keep practicing and moving with your breath, best thing we can do for ourselves right now. With love
If I had to choose one practice which I then had to stick with forever, this would be it. Every time I do it, it brings such happiness to me. Because of the beautiful movement, the perfect sequences and the wonderful words. Thank you so much, Tracey!
with the world so uncertain i am so very grateful for Do Yoga with Me and all you lovely teachers. You have no idea what a lifeline this is. In gratitude.
I love the fluidity of the sequence and the balance between effort and ease. Tracey's voice and cues are gentle and precise enough to allow for the mind to focus- this flow was a bit of a moving meditation for me.
This practice was so grounding and connecting. Thank you.
Someone told me that as humans we need time on our bellies in order to calm and organize our minds. He asks children who are often hyper and have trouble focusing to lay on their bellies, encouraging deep breathing. Afterward, they can attend, listen and learn. A very natural approach to create presence and peace.
Everyone has said it so well. This is a gracious, beautiful flowing meditation that joins the mind and body. I feel free at peace and beautiful. Thank you Tracey!
It took a long time for me to come up with a perfect word to describe this class...Bountiful it is. The repetition is just right for allowing deep feelings of all sorts from throat, shoulders, and hips to float out. I learned long ago from Tracy's Breaking Down Barriers class that my hips need frequent loving attention to release energy that was keeping them tight emotionally and physically. This class provides lavish body opening with a rhythmic pace. Thank you for this Bountiful class, Tracy!!
