This intermediate flow class is all about exploring pleasurable sensations in your body. Ron helps you flow through postures while staying connected to your breath and savouring your bodily sensations. His goal is to help you understand what is pleasurable on your mat, so that you are better able to find and cultivate pleasure in other areas of your life.

Thank you for your class! You seem like a real human and not a gumby-pretzel type who usually seem to be teaching yoga, which makes some of
us stiff ones feel that aspiring to that level is nearly impossible. My husband would also really appreciate your class too since he's built like you but not nearly as
flexible but would aspire becoming as flexible since he can relate to you better : ) When he saw you on my big t.v. screen connected to my computer, he asked, "whos' that guy?" It's rare to see muscular and large-built men teaching yoga. I commend you for entering a field dominated by women. Keep up the good practice and teaching!

Loved this class! I am a women's health/pelvic health physical therapist and loved the way Ron incorporated the elongation of the pelvic floor in the deep squat position. YES!!

I normally do not comment on these types of things but when I noticed the negative reviews, I just had to add my two cents. Ron rocks. Period. I love him and his breathing methods. He has been instrumental in instilling my love of yoga and for that I will always be thankful to him - and to his "heavy breathing"!!

I love this class and it seems to go by in a flash. I appreciate the way that Ron helps us notice and celebrate our breath by making sounds with it as we exhale. I do hope there are plans for him to record more classes for DYWM. Thank you!

Really disliked. Instructor is a Darth Vader breather which makes it difficult to enjoy and tap into your own body and breath.

Dear Ron, I struggle with your classes because your heavy breathing and moaning sounds makes it really difficult to focus on being present in my body. I tried to be patient an d tolerant but it is too much of a distraction for me. I encourage you to view classes by Rachel Scott and Fiji McAlpine. I don't know how they are able to teach while keeping their breath very quiet.

Its so great to have different teachers with different styles. I really enjoy the sensuous element to Ron´s classes in part by his own unique style which means the sounds he makes. It´s great that DYWM is such a diverse site adhering to so many different yogic needs.

Haha, I'm with you soniakim ! I stopped halfway because I just couldn't go on with the heavy breathing . I mean, I'm sure Ron is a perfectly nice guy, but I just don't want to hear anyone moan "mmm pleasure in the body parts" in my ear when I'm doing my yoga - I was half giggling half creeped out and could not find my own pleasure at all :-)

Ron's audible breathing, among many other things, is actually what my partner and I love so much about Ron's classes! I am able to stay more connected to the rhythm of breath with his guidance. Ron is our favorite instructor on DYWM - actually, our favorite yoga instructor ever. I love the gentleness, genuine compassion, bodily intuition, and creativity Ron brings to each class. Never seen another instructor like it. Just goes to show that everyone needs something a little different. :)

I like Ron's idea of noticing the pleasure of these poses rather than just trying to get through the class. I was able to do that. Miraculously the tide never gets high enough to turn this into aqua yoga! Thanks Ron for an excellent class.

I've done this class before and each time I am left feeling as though I just completed an hour of moving meditation. As if clarity is found in the pleasure. Highly recommend as a reset for busy weeks.

This is a happy an d pleasing practice. Pay attention - I had to listen a little more and not watch as much when Ron gave cues.
This is a fluid practice and makes you feel good.

I loved this class so much! I have been enjoying the few classes I have taken with Ron Stewart, and I can't wait to delve into more of his offerings! I really was able to sink into the pleasure in each movement and holding place in the poses, and I felt more in the moment than I have in a long time. I have been feeling some anxiety bubbling under the surface lately, worries about various things and situations, and this yoga practice helped me to realize that pleasure can be found in this moment.

Felt lighter, stronger and straighter after this class. I've been hoping for another class from Ron and this was great. I did some of the same poses this week in other classes but somehow Ron (always) manages to make those same poses and transitions feel effortless. Thank you :)

The cues about pleasure were so helpful - I noticed the postures where my habvit of attending to the form has somehow put a limit on how muich I let myself feel in those moments. Really great exploration - thank you.
