The yin comes before the yang in this wonderful, heart-opening, shoulder-releasing and back pain-relieving yin/yang yoga class. Sarah-Jane helps you ease into a series of intense yin poses to release the shoulders first, then moves you through a flow that deepens shoulder openers before you lie down to relax in savasana. Note: you need a bolster, pillow or folded blanket for this class.

A lovely, gentle class for when you're feeling tired and still want to do your body some good. Thanks Sarah Jane!

Ahhh, haven't done long yin openings at the beginning of a practice in a long time. Definitely brought benefits for getting into the fascia, and being much more open in yang, esp. Eagle. What a difference! Needs to be a warm environment though for these long passive holds. First long backbend was a strain on my neck and knee, and couldn't be there or in variations for 5 min. Maybe with practice and gentleness and playing with alternatives. Other than that, excellent class, with a (for me) new approach - thank you Sarah Jane!
Do you have a similar class for hips / lower back too?
