Yin yoga is my favorite type of yoga. I feel like a noodle when it's over. This video is very good.

I was the same at first... sore after doing yin yoga. But it didn't take long, maybe 3 weeks of doing it once a week, for that to go away. I'm thankful I did, because I really believe that yin is the main reason I have gained so much flexibility in the last year.

Yes, it's surprising how sore you can be after a yin yoga class, considering how passive the poses are. It's simply because you hold the poses for so long. The muscles, if you haven't been doing yin, aren't used to that. Over time, though, they will adapt and you will be fine.

While I found this yoga class to be relatively easy, I was surprised to find that I was really sore the next day. I guess I was doing more than I thought. A great addition to enhance your aerobic work!
