Just browsing on-line to find excercises to help strengthen and increase supplesess for my broken ankle, just out of plaster, and happened across this site! Though hobbling, my walking has improved after one session and I feel so calm! Easy to follow, and I can take it easy as you suggest for some excersises until my body becomes more supple! Looking forward to the higher grades as I improve!

Thanks AHH!

It's nice to see that people are enjoying this class. Yes - it is easy to get cold during a Yin class (though I for one often heat up when I hold poses for a long time), and having a blanket handy is a great idea - especially for savasana. You can make savasana as long as you like, which I think is the intention with many of these videos (David?), and certainly you can listen to one of the many wonderful guided meditations on this site during savasana. Finally, someone asked about my quotes - many were taken from the books "When Things Fall Apart" by Pema Chodron (an incredible book!) and "The Yoga of Breath" by Richard Rosen (great for developing an at home pranayama practice). I believe a couple of my poems were by the beautiful poet Mary Oliver, some I wrote myself and others were from friends..Did I use that many poems?? :)

I am so thankful for this class. It's so well done, safe and slow, exactly what I needed.

A deeply restorative flow of poses; i feel that savasana should have been shown for a longer length of time, it is where the magic happens; where you are rewarded for all your work and after such a deep working class i think it extremely important to emphasis and encourage that...perhaps with a guided meditation?.

A very relaxing yoga class was what I needed today. THank you!! What were the names of the books you quoted in the middle of the class during one of the poses?
