Gentle way to start (or start back!) your practice. This felt really good after a couple of weeks of holiday indulgences. I'm at a point in my life where I don't want to punish my body for these indulgences, but I do want to maintain movement, flexibility, strength and balance. Thanks, David, for making my return to practice feel good and for reminding me of some essentials for safety.

Even though I have been practicing yoga for some time, I am almost 70 and have osteoporosis and wanted to make sure I am moving, transitioning and stretching correctly so I do not injure myself. As always, David's instruction is clear and thorough and I did learn a few news things to focus on. Excited about this challenge! Thank you David!

I have been away from yoga for a few years (although I was always a novice) and have been promising myself to get back at it for quite some time. This was just what I needed to start easing my way back in! Thank you!

I enjoyed the stretching although found the time in between poses a little too long for me since I d'ont need the help of a chair to get back up.

What a blessing to find this site. In Dec. 2017, I broke two vertebrae in my spine. Prior to that, It has taken a long time to heal enough to feel ready to get back into yoga and I searched for so long for routines that would be appropriate for someone who needs an easy, gentle routine. I'm so happy I found DoYogaWithMe I subscribed right away and signed up for the Senior Challenge. This seems to be the perfect way for me to resume yoga in my current condition! Love it <3

Thanks for the pace and information, of the first class. I’m recovering from knee replacement (both), so I use additional supports when seated on the floor, but David’s eplanantion on how to get up made that step so much easier.

I joined the senior beginner's challenge. At first I thought it may be a little too easy as I have been doing yoga for a while. I then decided it may be good for me to keep at this beginner level as there may be lots I don't know!
Thank you David...Happy New Year!

I do love the great explanations that David gives. I understand that we are building a foundation here, and I am sure the upcoming classes will become a bit more challenging. Many of us seniors are still pretty active. :-)
Thanks for this site. I have been enjoying it. See you tomorrow.

well explained. Great for seniors who have never done yoga. I wonder if an alternative could be provided for those of us who want a refresher but still have some flexibility, and want to get into it again. A chair is a great idea for those with a lot of stiffness or have never done yoga before.
